Once an undercover detective and martial arts expert, I am now an international speaker, author and an award-winning nature photographer.

I use the same approach in my photography as I once did working undercover – scrutinizing every detail within the big picture while looking for clues that will uncover the ‘perfect’ photo opportunity. What I discovered, however, was a love of nature and macro photography.

Macro photography is much like detective work -- attention to detail is necessary and both require an observant and discerning eye. It’s not the overview or big picture (though that’s important) but the closer view that captures my attention.

Through my photographs, I want to help others to see their surroundings with new eyes – to pay attention to the small picture within the large landscape of life.

Nature – God’s magnificent creation – provides the subject and I try to humbly capture her beauty.
